The very first post of this personal blog was dated back in 2007, when I bought the domain name and configured a WordPress hosting. At that time, the blog was just in Italian and it was mostly focused on one of my hobbies: the photography. During the years I decided to evolve the content of this blog by switching from a very personal blog to something more oriented to community of electronics enthusiasts. So, I decided to change its theme and I started writing articles both in Italian and English. But, honestly speaking, the project never reached a critical mass and the number of blog posts were really few. This for several reasons: chronic lack of free time, quite non-linear working career and the beginning of quite important project in the 2016, my self-published book about STM32 programming.
In more recent years a lot of things are changed, for me. First, I'm now a father and I've to manage the growth of two-year daughter, who is very demanding :-). Second, I'm now fully dedicated to the general management, and I spent the vast majority of my time thinking about new product development, operation management, market expansion, chips crisis (:-D), management of sales, team building and so on. However, at the end I'm a nerd, and the fire of doing things still burns in me. And I really love in explaining how things work to other people. I am convinced that in another life I would have been an excellent teacher.
For these reasons, I decided to revamp this space and to dedicate a bit of time in talking about hobbyist projects. But with a very difference from the past. The new management role taught me a very important thing: the best is the enemy of the good. And so this time I will not spent one month to write the best blog post I can do. Because this is very time consuming, and time is nowadays my most scarce resource 🙂
