Hi Carmine,
Thanks for your book. It is very helpful. However there is minor thing you may consider adding to your book. For some unknown reasons, I failed setting up Eclipse for debugging properly. So I wonder if you would like to add a section about using openocd+gdb without IDE in future, for example giving some examples of how to set break point, step, restart and so on. I’ve been searching online for these tutorials but none of them are thorough or complete. Because I have no experience in RTOS, I don’t know if it will affect the debugging process. I just think that for Embedded System, debugging seems different (in terms of commands) from the usual project codes running on PC . So I believe having a section discussing about the debugging processing using openocd+gdb without IDE would be very beneficial for us.
Thank you for your attention and time.
Best,
Zheng
I don’t think to add a such topic into the book. Maybe a will write a post on my blog in the future.
