Error on Page 426 (CRC)?

On page 426 (last version) the book says:

“As said before, in GF(2ⁿ) addition and subtraction correspond to XOR logical operation. This means
that the sum of the polynomials x4 + x3 + 1 and x3 + x + 1 is equal to x4 + x³. Clearly, this is also the
same of the subtraction of the two polynomials.”

I think the result of the sum should be X4 + x

Am I right?
