    I’ll try to add some clarity to my problem. A colleague at one time use the sample stepper software from ST to develop some firmware. Here is a link to it.

    I would like to add to it, but I am new to the ST product line. Is it possible to import this sample code into the environment as Carmine has it setup? If I could get the example to compile and flash, I could add my collegues changes into the sample and end up with something I can move forward from there. That might get me around the problem with his project being built on the AC6 toolchain.

    I’ve downloaded and looked through C-CUBE-SPN2 package, and also the STM32CubeF4 package and I have no idea how to put these two together into something that looks like the project structure we’ve been creating in Carmine’s book.

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Switching to hardware reset also fixed this for me. Thanks for the advice.
