Hi rfunes,
Eclipse never worked for me and I quit using it totally.
If this is for the first time you will be using Eclipse then I suggest you should stop using it now and try this option.
Just download STM32CubeMX from ST website. It is the easiest way to go ahead. Also, download either SW4STM32 or Attolic Trustudio. I prefer Truestudio as it is now owned by ST itself and they are officially supporting it for STM micros.
Using STM32CubeMX, it is very easy to configure the device and output the files as Truestudio project.
And you are ready to go with the final project, now you will just need to add your code in it.
Also, notably Truestudio is also a free software and works great!
This configuration has really helped me to get a very steady and rigid start in STM.
But of course, you should try all options and decide it yourself.krunal2411ParticipantHello,
I am totally new to STM and eclipse environment. I have been trying around for long time to get STM working with different tools but couldn’t. Then I found this book and it seems that it would really help me to get going. But I have stuck here and have frustrated trying all the solutions given online.
Could you please take out some time to answer this problem. I really appreciate your efforts.Thanking you in anticipation.

I just bought the book yesterday. It looks really helpful.
I am trying to install the first Hello-World project but having problems.I get error on building the project.
The error is shown in the attached image Pic.Then I try to check my configured paths in the “Global Tools Paths” in Eclipse Preferences, but that is missing.
Here is the image named Pic1.I have followed all the steps to reach here but I am not able to go ahead.
